We are now looking for a Corporate Account Manager in North America
You will play a key role in executing strategic growth in the Americas working with sales team in maintaining current business and developing a new business base in taget corporations in The Americas. In this role, you will lead and develop corporate account strategies collaborating with cross-functional team, promoting the existing product and service portfolio identifying potential new key differentiators in the Packaging, Hygiene and target markets.
This is a remote position with frequent travel to our customers corporate offices and operations sites. You will be part of the North Region Commercial team and report to the North Region Commercial Director.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Corporate relations & Communications
- Develop and maintain corporate business relations with key corporate groups including, but not limited to, purchasing, operations, environment, sustainability and market development, assuring good internal and external communications
Develop relations and projects with our customers’ customers (End users)
Strategic Growth
- Lead and align strategic sales initiatives and priorities through break-in and cross-selling opportunities in target corporations
- Identify new strategic sales opportunities, including Digital Services, and promote Kemira’s strategic key differentiators and new technologies to the target corporations
- Collaborate with sales team in the execution of the strategic sales growth, at all stages from target identification to commercialization
Corporate Value Creation
- Manage and align product and service quality and quantity; resolve concerns and issues proactively to customer satisfaction.
- Proactively recommend, assist and support customers grade development
- Implement, follow and review continuous improvement initiatives and performance achievemements with customer sites and corporate stakeholders
- Participate in technical reviews and trials to support value creation
Strategic Planning & Corporate Leadership
- Coordinate efforts with sales team and internal resources (Commercial Development, New Ventures & Services, Applications, Product Line Management, Logitics and Sourcing)
- Maintain information systems to address price coordination, competitive threats, goals, forecasts, CRM tools such as SalesForce, and resource positioning
Pricing, Bids & Contracts
- Achieve budgeted corporate revenue and profitability targets
- Manage and optimize pricing and corporate bid processes through value creation
- Coordinate, manage and negotiate corporate sales agreement, contracts, NDAs and other legal documents to completion
New Technologies and Key Differentiators
- Promote and propose Kemira’s new technologies and key differentiators to corporate strategic groups
- New paper machine Start-ups & Conversions – Involve Kemira at early stages of new paper machine Start-ups & Conversions projects with key corporate stakeholders
Environment & Sustainability
- Promote proactively Kemira’s support to help customers characterize, develop plans and achieve their environmental and sustainability targets through water management, circularity and energy efficiency.
Market Development
- Expose Kemira to the industry (communications, trade shows and conventions, publications, social media) in collaboration with Commercial Development group
- Develop relations with industry’s key stakeholders (network, associations, universities, equipment manufacturers, etc.)
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Proactive style with proven experience leading business process initiatives in commercial activities, with a track record of aligning strategic goals and leveraging technology
- Comprehensive understanding of markets in the Packaging and Hygiene chemicals sector, enabling informed decision making and strategic foresight.
- Demonstrated, measurable achievements in driving business outcomes.
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and executive level communication skills (verbal, written, non-verbal) to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Global cultural awareness and adaptability to foster collaboration in a diverse work environment.
- Solid business acumen and a focus on outcomes that support overall corporate objectives.
- Familiarity with digital transformation and sustainability
- Superior organizational abilities – preparation, documentation, tracking, follow-up and delegation.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in commercial roles
- Technical Degree or above in Pulp&Paper, chemistry, engineering or a related discipline
