We are looking for a experienced professional to join the company as Product Stewardship and Regulatory Affairs, TSCA Manager.  This role is responsible for US TSCA and Lautenberg Chemical Safety Act, including new chemical registrations (PMNs) and exemptions (e.g. Polymer Exemption). Provide TSCA support and guidance across many business units and functions. It also includes maintaining related Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) data in SAP, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.  This person is expected to work independently according to Kemira’s PSRA processes and guidelines ensuring high quality output and offer cross regional support in the global PSRA team.

What you need: 

  • >7 years of working experience in Product Stewardship and Regulatory Affairs and especially in US TSCA

  • Experience in working in chemical industry

  • University degree in Chemistry, Environment, Biology or relevant major; Higher education is preferred.

  • Advanced knowledge on regional/global core regulations for Kemira products and applications, Americas region, especially U.S. GHS, EPA, TSCA, California’s “Proposition 65”, Food Contact (FDA), Canada CEPA (NSNs), Dangerous Goods and other related regulations.

  • Analytic mindset with capabilities to interpret and translate the regulatory requirements into actionable plans and conclusion

  • Advanced communication and influencing skills

  • Experience working with international colleagues, an analytical mindset, the capability to work under time pressure, good problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.

  • Project management skills

  • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office. SAP is a plus.
