Title:  P&P E&T Project Manager

We are now looking for a highly driven Project Manager with experience in capital project management, project engineering and execution, plant engineering and construction management. You would be part of the Pulp and Paper Engineering and Technology Team. The purpose of the role is to manage capital projects (maintenance capex as well as greenfield / brownfield type of capital projects).

Location of the position is in North America within reasonable travel time to one of our manufacturing locations or main office in Atlanta, GA.  Travel among our sites in North and South America and sometimes Europe/APAC will be frequent.

What you need:

  • Engineering Degree preferably in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical.
  • Minimum 10 years related working experience
  • Safety and customer oriented mindset.  A can do attitude is a must.
  • Experienced plant & process safety, safety at work, environmental protection
  • Managing several minor projects (< 5M€) simultaneously, properly balancing priorities with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated technical skills with a track record of successful capital projects: delivered safely, on time, on budget and fit for purpose
  • Good communication and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different cultures colleagues and independently as situations demand.
  • Fluency spoken and written English is required, while Spanish or Portuguese are definitely an advantage.
