Title:  Senior Specialist Mfg. Controlling

We are looking for an Sr. Specialist, Manufacturing Controlling, NA  to be responsible for providing financial guidance and product costing expertise to the relevant managers/ functions as well as supporting F&A activities. This position will interface with Operations Management, Segment Management, Product Management, Supply Chain Management, and all Finance areas.

 

Core tasks include:

 

  • Product costing
  • Supporting inventory control at plants, warehouses and terminals, including annual physical counts
  • Preparing management reporting including cost center reporting, Plant P&Ls, variable cost reporting, budgeting, absorption variances, Slow Moving Inventory Reserve and others.

What you need: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related area
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of cost accounting and plant controlling experience within a mid-to-large (Euro 1.0 Billion+) international company that uses preferably SAP ERP and material ledger
  • Experience in a complex chemical manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Desire Strong ERP, Material ledger and Business Warehouse knowledge, strong preference toward SAP experience
  • Strong Accounting knowledge; especially in Product Costing and manufacturing concepts
  • Computer literacy:  MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint required
  • Strong leadership, analytical, organization and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
