If you have the right mix of curiosity, drive for excellence and an innovative mindset, we want to talk to you.  We are currently seeking someone to work in our Procurement Execution team.  This role is responsible to manage the daily interface with our vendors by generating, managing and confirming purchase orders and confirmation of deliveries of products and indirect services to our manufacturing sites and offices.  This role requires the person to manage each purchase order after requisition to receipt.  In addition the person would need the ability to work independently with our vendors and internal stakeholders of Sourcing and Accounts Payable to resolve any discrepancies on price, terms and payment.   

 

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage, create and support purchase order creation, confirmations and routine procurement responsiblities
  • Monitor and ensure vendor contract compliance internally and externally
  • Collaborate daily with vendors and Kemira manufacturing site to ensure on time deliveries or purchases
  • Act as a liaison between our vendors and internal stakeholders from order to pay
  • Monitor daily confirmations and required purchase order changes
  • Maintain accuracy on targets and key performance indicators set for the role

What you need: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associates or four year Bachelor degree beneficial
  • Prior experience within Supply Chain functions (Customer Service, Procurement, or Logistics)
  • 1+ year work experience with an ERP System (SAP beneficial)
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office Suite
  • Problem solving, analytical, strong judgment and decision making skills
