We are now looking for an experienced Electrician, to join our I&W Manufacturing Coagulants team. This position will be located at our Baltimore, MD plant.  Working closely with Plant Manager; Production Supervisor and Lead Maintenance Mechanic, this role supports the optimization of plant processes with the goal of maximizing throughout and enhancing product quality. The role provides maintenance and support, projects, improvement and troubleshooting.

 

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Support and advance the site safety culture
  • Strong background in preventative and predictive maintenance, reliability, and plant utilities
  • Experience with maintenance planning of material ordering on Project work
  • Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements
  • Equipment specific knowledge of boilers, steam systems, DC power supplies (rectifier-transformers) and electrochemical processes preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; able to work and communicate well with others.
  • Good analytical skills and experience applying problem solving techniques aimed at root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Preferably some small project management skills and experience within a chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using computerized maintenance management software (SAP PM preferred), Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word), and other computerized systems.

What you’ll bring to the team: 

  • Preferably 5+ years’ electrical experience in manufacturing or related field
  • Preferably experience with PLC’s and 4-20 mA instrumentation
  • Experience with three phase 480 V electricity
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
  • Self-managing
  • Prefer computer skills including MS Office applications
