We are now looking for trainees, desiring to become, or experienced Chemical Plant Process Operators for our Industry & Water Segment. The primary responsibilities of these career positions are to: Operate a variety of chemical process equipment used in the manufacturing of water treatment chemicals. Control ongoing batch processes with an unyielding focus on employee safety. Operation runs 24 hours per day, 365 days a year on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.  This manufacturing operation is part of our Industry & Water segment and is in Baltimore, MD metropolitan area.

What you need: 

  • Ideally be a current resident of the Baltimore, MD area with a High School education or equivalency & a minimum of 3 years industrial manufacturing or military experience, ideally within a chemical process environment.
  • Stable employment history. Must be able to pass Company physical and pre and post-employment drug testing.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, weekends and overtime. Work schedule rotates from days to nights every 2 weeks. Work teams have consecutive work weeks of 36 & 48 hours
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office and ability to learn in house software systems related to the manufacturing process. Demonstrated solid skills in math and reading
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and other industrial equipment, climb stairs repeatedly, lift 55 lbs. containers and work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
