Title:  Sales Representative, I&W Spain & North Africa

Kemira now have an opportunity within the I&W Spanish Sales Department.

We are seeing a driven Sales Representative to join the Industry & Water commercial team in Spain and North Africa (Maghreb area).

 

The responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a technical service to our existing customers and further developing the business through new sales.  You will identify business opportunities and potential accounts and develop new ideas and solutions for the business whilst providing technical support and problem resolutions for our existing customer portfolio. 
  • Maintaining sales information system and reporting systems via communications of sales reports, updated sales forecasting, goals, competitive information, etc. in a timely and accurate manner.

 What you need: 

  • Educated to degree level in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Technical and commercial experience from within the chemical water treatment industry
  • Knowledge of polymer, coagulant and defoamer, especially in industrial application would be an advantage.
  • A strong customer focus, with the ability to develop our customer base. 
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Able to undertake travel (60% of time)
  • Native Spanish speaker with fluency in English and French.

 

Preferred location for position is Barcelona or another Spanish city with good connections by plane to the sales area.
