Due to ambitious growth plans in the UK an opportunity has arisen for a Technical Sales & Service Representative for the Paper segment within the UK.  You will work in a large and dedicated UK based team and be responsible for routine servicing of customer accounts, developing sales and promoting Kemira Paper within the UK, predominately for the South of England, you will also be asked to provide support for the North of England at times.


The role involves providing a technical service to our existing customers and further developing the UK business through new sales.  You will identify business opportunities and potential accounts and develop new ideas and solutions for the business whilst providing technical support and problem resolutions for our existing customer portfolio. 


The position responsibilities include:

  • Directing the sales process to meeting and exceeding sales and targets applications
  • Developing business within designated accounts(s)
  • Expanding market position and market share
  • Introducing new products and solutions to clients
  • Organizing reports, sales calls and business reviews
  • Preparing short and mid-range sales plans to reach nominated targets
  • Supporting the development of demand forecast in assigned area
  • Retaining long-term customer relationships with established accounts

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Applicants should ideally be educated to degree level in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or equivalent with a sound technical and commercial experience from within the paper manufacturing industry, ideally with knowledge of Microbiological Control, Deposit Control, Sizing and polymer & coagulant applications.
  • Willingness to travel with some overnight stays.
