In this role, you will have the flexibility to organize your work between office and remote, in a hybrid work culture.

 

We are now looking for Sourcing Specialist to join our Global Sourcing Manufacturing team and to be responsible for sourcing of goods and services for selected manufacturing sites.


In this role, you will be negotiating and implementing agreements and running RFQ processes to manage and drive down Kemira's costs. This translates to being responsible of follow-up of deliveries, prices, contracts, total cost of ownership, and availability of your specific goods and services. This includes naturally that you will take care of supplier relationship management of your suppliers. The working environment will be international, and you will be involved in a wide range of different suppliers and businesses in close cooperation with Manufacturing.  This role will report to the Sr Manager, Global OpEx Site Sourcing and be based in Gdansk, Poland. This is permanent position.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Preferably university degree desired (at minimum lower level Business and economics degree), or suitable technical degree,
  • Minimum 2-4 years of sourcing or procurement experience in international industry environment,
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and networking skills,
  • Problem solving skills, determination to persist through challenges,
  • Fluent written and spoken English is needed. Any other language is seen as advantage, 
  • Stress resistant, capability and willingness to operate in an ever changing environment and still able to move towards the set goalpost,
  • Passion to learn and develop personal skills and competencies,
  • Sense of urgency and Pro-active hands-on attitude. Capable of independently manage multiple tasks/ projects simultaneously within tight timeframes,
  • Strong understanding of MS Office, SAP and eSourcing tools,
  • Readiness to travel in Europe.
