We are seeking a proactive Field Service Technician for our Pulp & Paper segment. Reporting to the Business Manager, you will work closely with the customer Account Manager to ensure customer requirements are met by Kemira’s applications. You will be responsible for practising best safe practice, in handling Kemira’s products and applications. Routine performance surveys and problem solving are key to this position, as is the quest for continuous improvement and further business development. Tasks include monitoring tank levels, inspection of equipment and make/co-ordinate repairs, assist with off-loading of bulk trucks and filling of customer tanks.

Kemira Pulp & Paper offers unique expertise in applying chemicals and supporting pulp and paper producers to innovate and continuously improve their operational efficiency and end-product quality. The position is full time and located in Tumut, NSW, Australia.

What you need:

  • Chemical Engineer or Chemistry degree qualified individual with appropriate pulp and paper industry experience
  • A vibrant and enthusiastic personality, capable of working both independently as well as part of a world class sales team
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and report writing skills are critical to this position
  • To bring your hands-on ability and “can-do” attitude to the position.
