We are now looking for a Manager, Site Sourcing EMEA to join our Indirect Sourcing team on a temporary basis to cover a parental leave.

 

In this role, you will support and implement innovative sourcing activities that help optimize site operating expenses within our manufacturing organization. You will collaborate closely with the manufacturing community and other sourcing colleagues to ensure meaningful results and seamless operations.

 

This position is based either at our headquarters in Helsinki, Finland or in Helsingborg, Sweden and you will report to the Sr Manager, Indirect Sourcing EMEA, located in Germany. 

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing sourcing and contracting strategies at both local and regional levels.
  • Providing expertise and guidance to effectively manage relevant spend categories.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Engaging suppliers to deliver day-to-day operational excellence.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to achieve better performance outcomes.

 

What you’ll bring to the team: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5–7 years’ experience in sourcing, ideally in MRO or Site Services categories within multinational or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to define key issues and analyze data effectively.
  • Proven supplier and stakeholder management expertise.
  • Proactive, with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
  • Experience negotiating complex legal and commercial agreements.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing environments, including equipment contracting and supplier management.
  • Clear communication skills for discussing technical and manufacturing issues with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Adaptability in a dynamic environment, with a focus on achieving goals.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and eSourcing tools.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and driving safety initiatives.
