We are now looking for a highly driven Project Manager with experience in capital project management, project engineering and execution, plant engineering and construction management. You would be part of the Global Pulp and Paper Engineering and Technology Team. The purpose of the role is to manage capital projects (maintenance capex as well as greenfield / brownfield type of capital projects).
This role offers world class opportunities for personal and professional growth. Location of the position is in Asia-Pacific, preferably at our Nanjing or Yanzhou site. Travel among our sites in APAC and sometimes Europe/North America can also happen.

Main Accountability and Responsibilities:
Manage specific capital project(s) within in P&P E&T

Job Responsibilities:
1.    Planning and implementation of major investment projects (> 0,5 M€)
2.    Lead, manage and deliver projects with no safety incident, on time, within budget and fit for purpose
3.    Lead and manage projects according to rules, internal procedures (Project Management Framework (PMF), Project Execution Manual (PEM)), regulations and legislations at relevant sites/countries. 
4.    Lead all project team members (int. & ext. resources) in assigned projects
5.    Present regular and accurate project update to the Project Steering Team
6.    Deliver feasibility studies and plant design concepts for strategic projects
7.    Develop basic design & basic engineering packages for investment decisions
8.    Preparing and specifying technical scope of investment projects (investment proposal template) for approval
9.    Management of detailed engineering, project procurement, construction and commissioning for approved projects
10.    Draw up of comprehensive site concepts (site development plans, site infrastructure, site logistic, process and utilities, site analysis / evaluation)
11.    Optimization/Improvements of process steps and plants relating to Environmental protection, Safety, Health and Quality (ESHQ)  
12.    Evaluating and exploiting of technical experience from manufacturing plant and process technology development
13.    Providing the main interface and maintain a confident relationship with the stakeholders in a project (together with operational responsible)
14.    Responsible for ensuring all contractual obligations are fulfilled in projects
15.    Project controlling and reporting (budget, forecast, progress, schedule)
16.    Claim management (engineering contractors, sub-contractors, punch list clearance)
17.    Support the V.P of Engineering &Technology in elaborating feasibility studies, plant design concepts for global strategic projects
