We are seeking a driven Field Sales Technician for our Pulp & Paper segment in South America, Chile.

What you’ll bring to the team:

 

Main Accountabilities

 

  • Meet and comply with the EHSQ criteria, respect and ensure the requirements of quality, safety at work, occupational health and aspects that may cause environmental impacts of direct responsibility or not, promoting, when possible, their awareness of the services and activities carried out;
  • Perform laboratory activities for product selection, assist the Sales team to develop business in various application areas.
  • Monitor industrial tests, and organize field equipment for tests on customers.
  • Collaborate in the coordination of the application of the products on the customer;
  • Develop a relationship of trust with the customer; Perform administrative activities; have a vision of the businesses developed.
  • Monitor the retention process, demand control, drainage, sizing and final quality of the product produced in the paper machines;
  • Create process monitoring reports to the customers and superiors;
  • Monitor product inventories and maintain the supply of the application system;
  • Carry out inspections in the active area during service hours, check for anomalies and report occurrences;
  • Keep the area of ​​responsibility organized and clean;
  • Perform laboratory analysis (pH, ionic demand, conductivity, turbidity, alkalinity etc.);

 

Education

  • Engineer / Technologist level:  Chemical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Mechanics / Automation 
  • Basic / Intermediate English
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP
