Kemira Pulp & Paper offers unique expertise in applying chemicals and supporting pulp and paper producers to innovate and continuously improve their operational efficiency and end-product quality.


We are now looking for an experienced account manager to join our sales team of South China. You will together with application and function team be a vital part in, enabling Kemira to leverage the new project and business growth.

Main responsibilities are:

  • Responsible for the direct sales process, aiming at meeting and/or exceeding sales and profitability margin targets with designated account(s).
  • Expand profits, market position / share, introduce new products / solutions to clients and organize visits to current and potential clients.
  • Prepare and submit short and mid-range sales plans to reach nominated targets. Support the development of demand forecast in own area.
  • Maintain a high level of market intelligence by monitoring the performance of competition product and analyzing price change trend through close contact with customer.
  • Retain and intensify long-term customer relationships with established accounts that will generate future sales and repeat business.
  • Provide the necessary technical support on site, for example equipment maintenance. Help to solve the application problem if needed. Coordinate with application team regarding lab/plant trial.
  • Manage trade receivables and delivery/invoicing claims.
  • Work with Sales Operation, Purchase & Logistics, Finance and Equipment coordinators to perform their function as needed.

  • What you need:
  • Bachelor degree in Pulp & Paper and Chemistry with focus on fiber and wet-end chemistry and technology, or other relevant area.
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in paper mill or paper chemical company
  • Knowledge of paper chemistry application and sales skills.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills in English.
  • Courage to drive constant improvement by challenging existing status and striving new products to paper mill customer.
