Title:  Analytical Scientist

We are now looking for an experienced Scientist to join Analytics Team at our Shanghai R&D Center. You will work for analytical test method development, optimization, and validation. You will together with sourcing, product and marketing management and with sales and application teams provide high quality data to support business need.
Kemira R&D and Technology is a critical enabler within Kemira, securing organic growth and further differentiation in the market through co-creation and innovation with our customers. 
Main responsibilities are:
•    Strong quantitative analysis capability in organic compound. Familiar with all kinds of sample treatment method and can develop method independently and timely. 
•    Responsible for routine analytical analysis such as deposit, paper defect, re-qualification, residue, physical and chemical property.
•    Proactive communication with customer, understand customer’s needs, design test method and experiment for customer.
•    Collaboration with other R&Ds and other teams to meet business and project requirement.
•    Take charge of operation and maintenance of responsible instruments and analytical method’s review and management regularly
•    Complete other assigned work timely.

What you need: 
•    Bachelor degree or above in analytical, chemical or papermaking background.
•    Familiar with organic and inorganic analysis, strong capacity in troubleshooting.
•    Operate analytical instruments independently such as FT-IR, PY-GC/MS, HPLC, TGA, DSC, ICP, and so on.
•    5 or more years related work experience in analytical science.
•    Good collaboration, communication and reporting skills.
•    Fluency in reading, listening, writing, and speaking English.
