Sales representative Water Solutions for France & Export
 

We are now looking for a Sales representative, experienced with technical background in water treatment for our urban segment in the region.  In this role you will support the development and sales of specific chemicals for water treatment mainly in the Urban segment and distributers.  You will also need to identify new customers and support current ones with the most effective chemical applications used in water treatment. The position will be located in France.

 

In this role you will be responsible for :

 

  • Working closely with the existing business and customers to meet or exceeding sales and margin targets and developing profitable business within the African water Industry.
  • Actively work and develop local strategies to increase  customer base and sales in the water urban segment.
  • Introduction in customers of Kemira digital solutions.
  • Testing of products in site to increase sustainability and to improve processes
  • Support in the preparation of short and mid-range sales plans to reach nominated targets and supporting the development of the demand forecast in assigned area.
  • Retain long-term customer relationships with established accounts projected to generate future sales and repeat business.

 

What you’ll bring to the team:

 

  • Bachelor's degree level and/or equivalent in, chemistry, or chemical engineering, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the water industry.
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel in France and West African countries  (up to 60%)
  • Experience in the following areas preferred:
    • Liquid/solid separation and filtration coagulant and polymer application
    • Sales experience in water sector
    • Planning, running, and reporting on trial evaluations (Plant and laboratory)
    • Customer relationship management and reporting
    • Sales experience would be an additional benefit.
