We are seeking a Key District Manager for our Pulp & Paper segment in South America.

Kemira Pulp & Paper offers unique expertise in applying chemicals and supporting pulp and paper producers to innovate and continuously improve their operational efficiency and end-product quality.

 

Main Accountabilities:

  • Establishes and builds strong, senior level client relationships with key account.
  • Responsible for coordinating the account (including managing service and application costing), aiming at meeting and or exceeding sales and profitability targets. Develop profitable business with designated account(s) and retain and intensify long-term customer relationships with established accounts.
  • Coordinates strongly internally to ensure consistent way of working as perceived by the key account.
  • Manage trade receivables and delivery/invoicing claims.
  • Expand sales, introduce new products / applications to clients and organize visits to current and/or potential key accounts.
  • Submit short and long-range customer relationship plans, assess the future need of the client and prepare sales strategies utilizing available marketing programs to reach nominated targets.
  • Support the development of demand forecast in own area.
  • Attract, develop, and motivate team of technicians and expert engineers.
  • Identify need for resources according to customer needs and negotiate internally the allocation of these resources

Impact: Develop and manage a specific very large customer account(s) to achieve designated sales and profitability targets.

Decision making: Contribute to decision making at local/national/regional level.

Knowhow & Education:

Knowhow: Seasoned professional knowledge in sales, broad business knowledge, strong tactical leadership abilities and ability to impact, influence and convince others.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or Chemistry Engineer, Fluently English.
