We are now seeking a team member for Commercial Excellence & Marketing, Americas for our New Ventures & Services business unit. 

 

The purpose of this position is to support the regional Commercial team with the Sales process and related tools, including serving as a key user role for MySales.  This role will also execute marketing communications in the region. This position can be located in either the United States or Canada.

 

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide timely and effective support to the regional Commercial team.
  • Serve as Key user / PoC for Sales tools including MySales, MyContracts, PROS pricing tool etc.
  • Coordinate and follow up on PSRA requests entered through MySales.
  • Act as pricing coordinator following Sales creation of price quotes.
  • Respond effectively and efficiently to internal and customer inquiries including queries relating to orders and/or returns; escalate queries where required.
  • Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial, competitive, sales, marketing, and other information about products, product groups, applications and services. Advise sales and business with regards to tender preparation, contract and quotations in order to ensure accuracy and timeliness of inputs.
  • Prepare and administer commercial documentation such as contracts and service agreements.
  • Gather and process marketing information; prepare marketing and promotional materials and content. Develop media and advertising concepts and materials together with advertising and media agencies.
  • Track and facilitate conference attendance.
  • Liase with Business and Portfolio Management team on market survey information.
  • Liase with Global Marcoms in the units for global strategy information. 
  • Manage case stories in each technology.
  • Manage selling powerpoint decks and work with BCMs to keep them current.
  • Manage MySales Dashboards and provide MySales reporting tools to team and management.

 

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in Business Administration, Marketing, Marketing communication or an other relevant field.
  • Minimum 2 years (up to a maximum of 5 years of relevant industrial experience supporting commercial teams and/or leading marketing communication actions in an international setting.
  • Proven track record of mastering Sales tools e.g. SalesForce.
  • Proven track record of managing marcomms activities incl. social media campaigns, conferences and exhibitions.
  • Advanced professional knowledge in marketing, seasoned business knowledge, strong tactical leadership abilities and ability to impact, influence and convince others.
  • Sound knowledge in commercial excellence, ability to impact and influence others, and sound knowledge of company policies, practices, systems, processes and tools, including but not limited to MySales, PROS pricing tool, MyContracts, SAP.
  • Comfortable and excels with new and unfamiliar prospect customers and in new markets and environments.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, emotional intelligence and an ability to work across organizational boundaries combined with persuasion and negotiation skills. Ability to impact, influence and convince others.
