We are looking for a Export Transportation Coordinator.
We are looking for someone who will ensure the efficient, compliant, and timely coordination of all export shipments by managing documentation, logistics, and communication across internal teams and freight partners, while minimizing delays, controlling costs, and adhering to all international trade regulations.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Prepare, review, and process shipping and customs documents (e.g., invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin).
- Ensure all documents comply with international trade regulations and internal policies.
- Manage the day-to-day preparation and maintenance of all active Free Trade Agreement (FTA) certification requests
- Track and monitor outgoing shipments.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and carriers to ensure timely loading and delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and correspondence.
- Audit export shipments as final documentation is received by our forwarder
- Act as a liaison between internal departments (sales, warehouse, finance) and external stakeholders (suppliers, customer operations, logistics providers).
- Provide status updates and resolve basic shipping-related inquiries or issues.
- Support project testing and validation of reporting systems
- And other duties as assigned
What you’ll bring to the team:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree or higher preferred).
- 1+ year of experience in logistics, supply chain, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of international shipping terms and documentation.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

The starting salary range for consideration for this position is $24.74 to $29.80 per hour with opportunities for performance-based bonuses. The actual starting salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant employment history & experience, skill set/competencies, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes health insurance, paid time off, life/disability insurance and a 401k retirement plan (which includes a company match).
