We are seeking a skilled professional to join the company in our Product Stewardship and Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) team. This position will be located in Atlanta, Georgia, working from our main office and is eligible for hybrid work.
Kemira's Product Safety and Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) drives the global execution of product safety and product regulatory compliance related activities, and proactively contributes to Kemira product stewardship through lifecycle approach. In this position you will be evaluating and approving raw materials based on their regulatory statuses. You can also participate on process and tool development related to your own work. This work requires ability to learn quickly and make decisions independently. You need to have strong communication skills and a proactive way of solving problems.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the relevant product safety and regulatory reviews for raw materials
- Maintaining related Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) data in SAP
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- Working according to Kemira’s PSRA processes and guidelines ensuring high quality output and offer cross regional support in the global PSRA team.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Degree in a relevant field, knowledge on chemistry beneficial
- Prior regulatory knowledge is an advantage
- Experience in working in the chemical industry
- Ability to define and organize diverse projects in a timely manner
- Ability to successful work independently
- Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office. SAP is a plus.
- Analytical problem solving skills
