Our Packaging and Hygiene Business Unit is seeking a dynamic, results-driven professional to accelerate growth and shape our future success.  We are now looking for a Sr Manager, Business & Market Development for our Packaging & Hygiene Services Business Unit in the Americas.

 

The Sr Manager, Business & Marker Development will play a pivotal role in driving both strategic business expansion and market penetration. This hybrid role combines responsibilities for identifying new business opportunities, shaping competitive offerings, and executing market development plans to maximize portfolio leverage and customer value.

You will lead initiatives that enhance Kemira’s market presence, fuel profitability, and deliver innovative solutions to meet evolving customer needs. This position requires strong commercial acumen, technical proficiency, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams globally.

 

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

 

Business Development

  • Establish best-in-class processes to evaluate and prioritize growth opportunities
  • Ideate and develop business cases aligned with BU strategy
  • Drive M&A input and strategic partnerships to expand market access
  • Fill product development funnel and manage NPD process through pre-commercial planning
  • Lead multiple development programs to enable growth and profitability
  • Monitor market trends and define actionable gaps in offerings
  • Collaborate with product line management and sales to ensure competitive advantage
  • Support pricing strategies and portfolio management

 

Market Development

  • Develop and execute market development plans to increase penetration and share
  • Use market intelligence to forecast opportunities and inform strategy
  • Create targeted offerings for high-growth areas and clients
  • Drive accelerated commercial launches and cross-selling initiatives
  • Formulate and maintain comprehensive BU marketing plans
  • Participate in external events to strengthen strategic client relationships
  • Establish scalable lead follow-up processes to ensure timely execution
