We are now looking for an environmental / project engineer to join our Manufacturing team in Botlek Rotterdam. You will be part of the engineering team and work closely with process engineers, EHSQ-department, maintenance, and operations.
The environmental / project engineer will be leading the site's sustainability journey by initiation and execution of improvement projects with the goal of significantly improving the site's environmental impact with respect to emissions and energy. The role provides process engineering support including process design, project management and continuous improvement.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering. Preferably process, chemical or environmental engineering
- 5 years process engineering experience in chemical manufacturing or related field
- Fluent in English language skills: understanding, reading, writing and speaking
- Analytical, driven, result-oriented and focused on getting the best out of yourself and your team
- Good project management and stakeholder management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative mindset and focus on innovation
