We are now looking for a Maintenance Planning & Reliability Engineer our Operations Unit.
The Operations unit at Kemira is dedicated to ensuring reliable, efficient manufacturing performance and continuous improvement to protect people, assets, and the environment. The team drives efficiency, agility, and strategic alignment by prioritizing and managing critical projects that enable sustainable value creation across Kemira.
This position is located in Bradford, United Kingdom and is on-site only.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the reliability and availability of all site equipment through planned and preventative maintenance activities.
- Developing and implementing the long-term maintenance strategy for the Bradford site.
- Scheduling and planning site outages, including pre-planning meetings and post-outage reviews to drive continuous improvement.
- Leading root cause analysis into equipment downtime and identifying corrective and preventative measures.
- Developing and updating planned maintenance procedures using the SAP computerized maintenance management system.
- Managing the condition monitoring of rotating equipment.
- Contributing to site improvement initiatives to ensure operational efficiency targets are met.
- Identifying contractors and spare parts to meet cost, quality, and sustainability objectives.
- Supporting the maintenance team during peak periods and holidays.
- Participating in capital expenditure projects for maintenance improvements.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Professional experience in an electrical or mechanical maintenance role.
- Knowledge of SAP or similar computerised maintenance management systems.
- Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within a continuous production environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate across teams.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in computer applications relevant to the role.
