We are now looking for a Logistics Site Control Administrator. This position will be responsible for traffic administration, including inbound and outbound traffic of raw material deliveries, shipping of finished goods, and administrative documentation. This is a 2nd shift position and is located at our East Chicago, IN, facility.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Supporting and advancing the site safety culture.
  • Providing direction and documentation for deliveries of raw materials and shipments of finished products.
  • Providing notice to appropriate departments of delivery arrivals.
  • Printing out daily delivery paper work and inputting data into the system as needed.
  • Promoting the security of the Kemira facility by site video surveillance.
  • Ensuring all contractors, visitors, and employees to the facility are accurately accounted for and monitored when on site.
  • Ensuring all contractors, visitors, and employees at the facility follow all safety requirements and clearly understand emergency procedures.
  • Ensuring all vendors, contractors, and visitors understand facility traffic flow and landmarks of the terminal.
  • Ability to work in a multi-faceted environment, which includes both office settings as well as outdoors.
  • Providing sign-off sheets to truckers and visitors with regards to Kemira safety and traffic flow.
  • Reporting emergencies to the appropriate authorities, both internal and external.
  • Inputting raw material and finished goods documentation in ERP SAP.
  • Distributing mail and processing invoices to AP.
  • Performing inspections on inbound and outbound trucks.
  • Completing SAP transactions for the logistics terminal network as needed.
  • Any other administrative duties as developed.

  • Experience working with little supervision.
  • Experience with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
