Title:  (Senior) Manager, R&D Global Processes and Projects

We are looking for a (Senior) Manager to join our Global Processes & Projects team in R&D and Technology function. You will lead diverse strategic projects at Kemira R&D. You have a key role to drive strategic sustainability tasks at R&D working closely with our business stakeholders. 


You will be a member of a global multifunctioning and dynamic team whose responsibilities include e,g. managing global R&D projects, developing and managing R&D processes to support effective project execution from development to commercialization, managing collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and contributing strongly on R&D strategy development and direction.

What you need:
•    Academic degree (M.Sc/PhD) in a relevant field of technology, preferably in chemical or process engineering or bio/chemistry with a minimum 5 years of work experience
•    Proven project management skills. Experience in development of supporting processes is seen as benefit.
•    Experience in sustainability tasks and/or developing biobased chemistries is considered as a benefit
•    You have excellent communication and reporting skills in English
•    You are a team player with skills to collaborate and influence proactively in a global R&D and business organization
•    You have courage to drive for results and constant improvements by challenging existing operations and identifying new ways of working. You have the ability to implement change in a large organization
•    Strong commitment to safety, health, environment and quality compliance
