Title:  Research Scientist, Analytics, Inorganic chemistry

We are now looking for an experienced and innovative Research Scientist to join the Analytics Team at our Espoo R&D Center. You will work providing information and solutions to R&D projects and technical customer service by means of inorganic analyses and other analytical methods. You will produce and interpret experimental results and prepare reports, patents and publications. Also, you contribute to method development, technology scouting, and are responsible for ICP-MS and X-ray analysis. As a research scientist you will be responsible for coordinating the work of technicians.

What you need

  • Academic degree (Ph.D.; M.Sc.) in analytical chemistry, inorganic chemistry or in similar discipline with a minimum of 3 years of experience inorganic analytical chemistry. ICP, XR and IC is a great advantage
  • An ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and strong analyzing/decision making skills with a hands-on attitude
  • Experience in organizing lab work and leading others
  • Good communication and reporting skills in English, Finnish is an advantage.
  • Experience in water-intensive processes or project management is an advantage
  • Ability to thrive in a multicultural environment, creating networks and helping the team to deliver success with our customers
