Title:  Summer Trainee, IP& Innovation Solutions

We are looking for a Trainee for our IP & Innovation Solutions team, which is a global team in the Kemira Research & Innovation (R&I) function. 

 

You will mainly be working with ideating and implementing new ways of working in the intellectual property (IP) administrative tasks and formalities using digital tools and data solutions. We target to automate processes, database updates, and document archiving, as well as more efficient sharing of information on IP matters. We also want to explore synergies with other data solutions in the global R&I. Your work will involve development of our software tools and data analysis. You will collaborate with the whole global R&I and also with Kemira IT function. 

 

What you'll bring to the team

 

  • You are a student in engineering, IT, law or economics with good knowledge of Data, Data Modelling and/or AI/ML techniques and technologies, as well as  application programming interfaces (API), and have open mind for learning new things
  • Ideally, you are interested in the intellectual property rights and innovation processes
  • You are detail-oriented and do not get frustrated with routine tasks
  • You have good communication skills and are fluent in written and spoken English
  • You are proactive, a good team player and have good organizational skills
