We are looking for a Summer trainee to our Espoo Research Center in Sizing & Molded fiber team in Business Unit Packaging & Hygiene Solutions.
The work is mainly laboratory work, focusing on making laboratory sheets and various measurements from paper and board samples, and charatcterization of hydropboation chemicals. The duration of the summer internship is approximately 3-4 months.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Relevant educational background for laboratory work.
- Previous experience of working in laboratory is considered a benefit.
- Positive and active attitude, willingness to learn new skills and methods
- Knowledge in fiber chemistry, polymer chemistry and/or cellulose materials is essential.
- Experience on paper and/or board surface treatment or characterization of end product properties is considered a benefit as well as knowledge of paper sheet forming in laboratory.
- Well-organized, can-do attitude, well-motivated, independent, hands-on person to work in laboratory together with our other experts.
- Team player with good communication skills in English and/or Finnish.
- You understand that safety is a key element in successful work
