We are looking for a Production Operator for the Industry & Water segment. This position performs work safely in accordance with established procedures, troubleshoots problems, performs lab analysis tasks, and ensures the proper operation of all equipment.
Kemira's Industry & Water segment enables our customers to improve their water treatment efficiency by providing value adding support and high-performing chemicals. This position will be located at our Fontana, CA manufacturing site.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Monitoring tank levels and process instrumentation
- Operating pumps, valves, filter presses, controls and other operating devices
- Loading finished goods,
- Connecting/disconnecting railroad cars
- Operating the fork trucks, dkis steers and overhead cranes
- And any other duties as assigned
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
- Experience working with little supervision.
- Experience with MS office applications including word, excel, power point and outlook.
