We are now looking for an experienced Manager, Sourcing Manufacturing (all genders) with a focus on CapEx to join our Sourcing Team in the EMEA region.

In this position you will directly report to the Sr Manager, Sourcing Manufacturing EMEA. This position can be based in Finland or Germany.  

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing innovative approaches to sourcing processes that minimize CapEx costs, as well as commercial and legal risks.
  • Leading the end-to-end sourcing process in CapEx projects which includes the sourcing strategies
  • Leading the supplier selection process and concluding the agreements following the commercial and legal negotiations. 
  • Development and execution of project sourcing and contracting strategies, starting in early project phases, to support the projects and the company's growth objectives as part of this opportunity.
  • Providing expertise and knowledge within a category of spend and you are working cross-functionally and in a remote team, guiding procurement staff of internal and external partners and motivating them to perform at their maximum.
  • Developing, monitoring and reporting key supplier performance metrics in addition to working closely with internal stakeholders and key suppliers on new areas of value creation by driving improvement opportunities and innovation initiatives.

 

What you will bring to the team:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or science related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in CapEx Sourcing and Procurement for multi-national global companies
  • Solid experience in EPC/EPCM project execution environment
  • Solid experience of leading the sourcing activities for green field / brown field investment projects with proven process development and project management exposure
  • To be results driven, analytical, self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to logically identify alternative solutions or approaches to complex challenges
  • Solid supplier and internal stakeholder management skills
  • Strong negotiating skills and intercultural competence, including solid language proficiency in English
  • Experience with negotiating legal and commercial agreements terms and conditions
  • Experience with SAP and eSourcing tools
  • Readiness to travel as projects may require
