We are now looking for an experienced Sr Specialist, Sourcing Indirect EMEA to support us with managing indirect spend categories within the region.In this position you will directly report to the Sr Manager, Indirect Sourcing. The position is located in Gdańsk office, with flexibility to organize your work between office and remote, in a hybrid work culture.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Supporting EMEA Manufacturing sites and other Kemira business entities for managing indirect spending, including but not limited to the investigation of potential vendors,
- Qualification of existing and potential suppliers, Request for Quotations,
- Negotiation of contract conditions, Improve Suppliers’ performances, Supplier Audit,
- Value Proposal and/or other manners,
- Supporting internal catalogue creation and maintenance in KEMStore system.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Preferably bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Management, Engineering or other science-related field.
- 5-7 years experience in a Sourcing or Procurement role, preferably with indirect sourcing experience in MRO and/or Site Services categories for multi-national companies or sufficient experience in a Manufacturing Environment (eg.Facility Management, HVAC, Gardening, Piping, Mechanical Installation, Electrical Installation, Automation etc)
- Strong analytical and technical skills; ability to understand and define the most critical issues and develop methodologies for collecting and analyzing relevant data.
- Strong supplier and internal stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to communicate technical and manufacturing issues clearly with Suppliers, Business stakeholders, and relevant internal functions.
- Capable of independently managing multiple tasks/ projects simultaneously within tight timeframes.
- Experience with negotiating complex legal and commercial agreements terms and conditions.
- In-depth understanding of the manufacturing environment in general, e.g. equipment contracting and supplier management practices.
