We are now looking for a Senior Tax Manager, International Taxation for our Group Tax team in Global Finance/CFO organization.
The Group Tax team is a part of Kemira CFO office, which provides accurate and timely information and drives efficiency improvements through best-in-class finance & accounting and planning & controlling services as well as risk management, treasury, investor relations, M&A operations and IT.
This position is based in Helsinki, Finland but may also be located in one of the other Kemira locations in EMEA.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Leading Kemira Group’s international and domestic corporate income taxation.
- Managing and coordinating global corporate income tax compliance.
- Quarterly tax reporting and tax forecasting, supporting in tax bookings and calculations.
- Analysis of Pillar 2 implications and management of related compliance and regulatory requirements as well as tax footprint reporting and analyses.
- Annual processes from corporate income tax perspective, including dividend, capitalization and financing analyses, interest deductibility and tax depreciations analyses.
- Providing expertise on corporate income tax aspects of business models and understanding of key transfer pricing concepts and issues.
- Coordination of tax audits and litigation processes globally, including collaboration between CIT, VAT, transfer pricing and other stakeholders.
- Supporting in M&A processes from tax perspective, tax structuring and financing planning, oversight of tax due diligence processes, review of legal documentation and SPA comments, assistance in integration and group legal structure rationalization.
- Analysis of applicability of tax legislation changes and tax reforms, identifying opportunities.
- Supporting business operations from corporate income tax perspective.
- Delivering corporate income tax related trainings and group presentations.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Master’s degree in taxation, law, economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years’ of relevant experience as a tax consultant, in-house tax manager in multinationals or a tax specialist in Tax Administration.
- Demonstrated expertise in corporate income tax matters, including compliance, reporting, and advisory responsibilities.
- In-depth knowledge of international taxation, EU tax law and OECD tax guidelines.
- Fluency in both English and Finnish, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- An independent and analytical approach to problem-solving, with the ability to make sound decisions and manage complex issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and cultures.
- A proactive and self-driven working style, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
