Title:  Summer Trainee, Market Exploration and Development, New Ventures and Services

We are now looking for a Summer Trainee for Market Exploration and Development, Business & Portfolio Management team in our New Ventures and Services unit in Helsinki.  

In this role you will be responsible for

• Conducting market studies including legislations, competition, key customers, key technologies, customer needs etc. to provide actionable insights for the exploration, development and commercialization of our new technologies and entry to growth markets
• Supporting the creation of internal materials, for example, management presentations, strategy documents, case studies, new product launch presentations, onboarding materials, workshop materials etc
• Estimate market sizes and developing business cases for selected new growth areas, new technologies and new products 

What we expect from you 

• Background in industrial engineering, strategy, or finance
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to structure information, synthesize data, and offer valuable insights
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Good PowerPoint and Excel skill
• Experiences conducting market studies, developing market intelligence reports, formulating go to market strategies, management presentations, organizing & facilitating workshops. Interest in learning about new industries(e.g., textiles, nonwovens, battery, water treatment)
• Fluency in English, additional languages are considered as a plus
• A team player, a curious and growth-driven mindset
