We are now looking for a Sales Representative, Packaging & Hygiene Solutions, Product Unit, EMEA.
Packaging & Hygiene Solutions Business Unit specializes in innovative solutions that enable customers to create fiber-based products suited for a circular economy and replacing plastics, while optimizing resource efficiency, product performance, and quality. The Business Unit serves paper, board, tissue, and molded fiber packaging manufacturers across the globe.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day execution of the Product Unit distribution/customer channel within assigned EMEA countries. You will be part of a fast-growing sales area of the company, and you will report to the Senior Sales Manager, Product Unit, EMEA.
The role has a flexible location within Southern or Eastern Europe, provided it is based in a country where Kemira currently operates (such as Türkiye, France, Spain, or Italy).
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Managing a portfolio of distributors/customers, including identification, onboarding, and ongoing relationship management. You monitor distributor performance against KPIs and implement corrective action plans as needed.
- Revenue growth and customer acquisition in assigned markets, working closely with distributors/customers to develop country-level sales plans. You support new market entry and expansion opportunities, analyze sales trends, identify opportunities, and recommend commercial actions to senior management.
- Ensuring compliance with global and regional pricing, governance, and regulatory frameworks. You maintain accurate distributor/customer records, performance dashboards, and sales forecasts, and report on distributor performance, market coverage, and channel effectiveness.
- Collaborating closely with regional commercial, marketing, finance, and operations teams. You represent distributor/customer needs in regional discussions, highlighting market insights and operational challenges, and you support the Senior Sales Manager in implementing regional initiatives and best practices.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Chemistry, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Typically 3+ years of sales experience, ideally with exposure to channel/distributor management.
- Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets, developing strong customer and distributor relationships, and driving growth in complex, multicountry environments.
- An entrepreneurial, growthoriented mindset with the ability to create opportunities, experiment, take ownership, and deliver impact.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence customers, distributors, colleagues, and stakeholders, paired with a strong sales orientation.
- Fluency in English; additional EMEA languages are considered an asset.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel within the EMEA region if necessary.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
