We are now looking for a Production Supervisor to join our AS Kemivesi team.

 

AS Kemivesi, part of Kemira, operates a coagulant plant in Rae vald, Harjumaa, Estonia, producing water treatment chemicals for a wide range of industrial, municipal, and city applications. The site is home to a close-knit team dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions for our customers.

 

This is a day-shift position located in Rae vald, Harjumaa, Estonia.

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring safe, environmentally responsible, and efficient plant operations in collaboration with your team
  • Leading and supporting a small, experienced team and occasionally stepping in to support operator tasks, ensuring smooth plant operations
  • Coordinating and managing the work of external contractors
  • Balancing office routines with hands-on participation in plant operations and maintenance
  • Engaging in environmental, health and safety, planning, quality, and maintenance activities

 

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Education and/or experience in process, electrical, or mechanical operations, or equivalent experience—supervisory experience in industry is a plus
  • A background in production or manufacturing is welcome—experience in the chemical industry is not essential
  • Commitment to safety, responsibility, and collaborative problem-solving
  • Openness to learning, adaptability, and a positive approach to teamwork
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Estonian and English; additional language skills (such as Finnish) are welcome
  • Experience with computerized production and maintenance management systems (such as SAP), Microsoft Office applications, and willingness to learn new tools
  • Previous experience in work safety is valued
  • Motivation to grow and develop your expertise in the chemical industry
