We are now seeking a SVP Commercial, Urban Water Americas, Water Solutions for our Water Solutions business unit.  The Water Solutions business unit offers a wide range of innovative solutions to optimize all stages of the water treatment process, while safely achieving water quality targets and meeting constantly tightening regulations, serving both municipal and industrial customers globally. This is a remote position located within the United States and focuses for urban/municipal market in NA and SA only. Availability to frequently attend meetings in Atlanta office is a request.

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Achieving Americas Water Solutions revenue and profit targets
  • Developing and growing business in the Americas municipal market in line with agreed financial targets
  • Managing and leading the Americas Water organization, developing sales competences for growth areas
  • Contributing to M&A potential target funnel development and direction to serve municipal market and growth
  • Steering the direction of new applications, products, and services development, and taking responsibility for commercialization by setting tactical focus into new growth initiatives
  • Defining and managing tactical plans and execution of sales at the highest level
  • Steering channel management and optimization (direct and indirect growth)
  • Leading the Commercial team to reach the highest possible efficiency and results
  • Ensuring the highest possible level of cooperation between stakeholders to meet customer needs
  • Contributing positively to the Water Americas team and Global Water Solutions management team
  • Contributing to the long-term strategic planning of urban/municipal business in NA and SA

 

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Proven track record of working at a Senior Executive level (minimum 3 years) with P&L responsibility of $75M up to $300M
  • Proof of successful sales management through organization
  • Extensive knowledge of sales and marketing execution within the water and/or chemical sector (15+ years)
  • Team management experience of at least 10 full-time employees
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal management skills
  • Demonstrated ability and track record of growing and delivering results
  • Strategic planning capability and strategic thinking skills, proof of some earlier experience is preferred
  • Experience working with and through a functional matrix
  • Experience in working in cross-functional teams and/or through a functional matrix
