This vacancy is for our Europoort site, where approximately 30 employees work. At Kemira’s Europoort plant, we produce hydrogen peroxide for various industrial applications, with the Water Solutions business being the most significant.
We are now looking for a Plant Manager to oversee the operations of the Europoort plant.
In this role you will be responsible for following:
- As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management, development, and continuous improvement of the Europoort site.
- Together with your team, you will ensure that the plant meets its targets in terms of safety, efficiency, cost, and product quality.
- Additionally, you will contribute to and be supported by Kemira’s global hydrogen peroxide technology team.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- A relevant higher education degree in a technical field.
- Proven experience in leadership and managerial roles.
- A strong track record in (process) safety leadership and fostering a safety culture.
- Experience in systematic improvement of production and cost efficiency, as well as managing change initiatives.
- A goal-oriented mindset with the ability to drive and complete projects.
- Excellent leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
- A positive attitude towards learning and professional development – for both yourself and the entire workforce.
- Experience in working with and managing various stakeholders.
- Fluency in both Dutch and English, with strong communication skills across different platforms.
