We are now looking for Business Development Managers for our Packaging & Hygiene Services Business Unit in APAC. We are seeking dynamic and results-oriented individuals who are ready to play a key role in driving growth and success. This position can be based anywhere within APAC countries.
In this position, you will play a crucial role in leading and shaping our growth trajectory. This dynamic role involves driving market analysis and understanding, identifying opportunities and gaps in our current offerings, and leveraging both inorganic and organic growth channels. The goal is to ensure agile, accelerated growth activity that enhances our competitive advantage.
You can be based at or near any of our local offices across the APAC region, with the option to work remotely. International travel may be required to facilitate effective collaboration with the global team and our customers. In this role, you will report to the Global Head of Business Development within the Commercial Development team of the Packaging and Hygiene Business Unit.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing business development growth plans in alignment with regional sales teams
- Driving business expansion and delivering a world-class offering to current and future customers.
- Establishing best-in-class processes and protocols to evaluate and prioritize business opportunities.
- Provide leadership for business unit activities such as, alliances, partnerships, and M&A, to expand market presence
- Defining and implementing both inorganic and organic solutions to secure a competitive advantage.
- Strategically collaborate with regional strategic sales teams to ensure a portfolio of development activity to meet growth objectives
- Overseeing the development portfolio to ensure agility, speed, and customer-centricity.
- Managing our business development growth portfolio and execution through pre-commercialization.
- Enhancing customer access strategies in collaboration with the market development team.
- Conducting market analysis and leveraging data to define emerging trends and inform strategic planning.
- Partnering with product line management and regional sales to achieve key results.
- Exploring new and existing sales channels to maximize value creation.

- Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Extensive professional experience in business development with a proven emphasis on driving commercial impact.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage, influence, and inspire stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven capability to lead and influence cross-functional and complex teams effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, generate actionable insights, and align strategies with business objectives.
- Deep understanding of sales and service processes within our core business areas.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the paper chemicals market, including trends and dynamics.
