Title: Sr Manager, Business and Market Development, APAC
We are now looking for the Regional Head of Business and Market Development, Packaging and Hygiene Solutions, APAC. We are seeking a dynamic and assertive leader!
Role Overview: The Head of APAC Business and Market Development for the Packaging and Hygiene Business Unit will play a crucial role in leading and shaping the unit growth trajectory. This agile and experienced person will drive market analysis and understanding. This skilled perspective will define opportunities and gaps in our current offering. This experience will be leveraged to ensure agile and accelerated activity that expands both creation and extension of business competitive advantage. This role is responsible for ensuring and executing strategy to fuel business expansion and delivery of a continuing world-class leading offering to our current and future customers. This role is responsible for ensuring a coordinated launch of newly commercialized products and establishing customer awareness of both our new and existing portfolio. The team drives execution to increase mill market share and cross selling of both our world class leading offering.
The role can be located in close proximity to any local office in the APAC region.
Primary responsibilities
- Lead a high-performing world class business and market development team
- Actively provide proactive input and options for inorganic growth
- Oversee filling of the organic product development funnel with impactful practical scope
- Further improve our best-in-class processes to evaluate and prioritize business opportunities
- Ideation oversight for business case creation, justification, and alignment with stakeholders
- Support strategic planning to provide competitive advantage in our offering
- Define solutions to close identified portfolio gaps to strengthen our competitive advantage
- Enable collection of market analysis and data collection
- Leverage research and data to inform and define emerging trends and future project proposals
- Closely partner with and support PLM and sales to fuel profitability and revenue
- Partner with the sales to drive penetration of newly created developments
- Planning and execution of plan to maximize market penetration for our existing portfolio
- Liaise with customers, understand needs of market, and forecast potential strategic actions
- Promote expansion of business by enabling improved cross-selling and collaboration using existing offering

- Fifteen years of experience in business development, commercial operations, or related fields
- Strong understanding of sales and service within the chemical manufacturing landscape
- Comprehensive market expertise of paper chemicals enabling strategic decision making
