We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for our Industry and Water manufacturing division.  This position is responsible to maintain plant operations by rebuilding and installing piping and equipment in all process and non-process areas of the plant, including the utility systems.  Must follow all standard procedures and safety policies. 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Install and repair/rebuild valves, pumps (centrifugal, diaphragm, gear), agitators, drive systems, conveyors, blowers, and other miscellaneous equipment.
  • Use creative problem solving to troubleshoot equipment problems and complete repairs.
  • Monitor steam, air, and water utility systems and coordinate maintenance needs and service.
  • Repair and install piping, hose, and process connections using good pipefitting skills.
  • Completion and recordkeeping on preventive maintenance on all rotating, rolling, and other equipment in the plant.
  • Work with outside vendors and suppliers for repairs and repair information.
  • Specify and order day to day maintenance parts, and assist with inventory of critical spares.
  • Perform basic electrical replacements, and instrumentation work.
  • Perform miscellaneous welding tasks for repair of structure or piping.
  • Perform plant painting, miscellaneous construction/building projects, and housekeeping tasks.

 What you’ll bring to the team:

  • High School education or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years’ combined industrial maintenance
  • Experience in chemical manufacturing environment preferred
  • Knowledge of electrical, welding, burning, pipe fabrication, and confined space entry
  • Experience with pump maintenance, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Instrumentation and control systems experience a plus
