Title:  Production Supervisor

We are now looking for an experienced Production Supervisor, to join our I&W Manufacturing Coagulant team.

 

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Support and advance the site safety culture
  • Supervise and monitor day-to-day production line operations in accordance with plant principles and procedures.  
  • Responsible for scheduling shifts to ensure production targets are met. 
  • Ensure products meet quality regulations and standards. Make adjustments as necessary during shift to produce product within specifications. Reject products outside of specifications. 
  • Drive continuous improvement of plant manufacturing processes and systems.  
  • Participate in capital project planning to ensure plant reliability and improvements.
  • Ensure that personnel safety, process safety, safety culture and security practices are in accordance with principles and procedures, and maintenance rules. 
  • Participate in and support Process Safety Management including Management of change, Process hazard analysis (PHA), risk assessment, pre-startup safety reviews, operator PSM training, incident investigation and resolution.
  • Create SOPs for new and existing equipment and processes as needed.
  • Lead performance by engaging direct reports to value-based behavior and continuous improvement of their skills. Support and coach as part of everyday leadership.

What you need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years’ production experience in chemical manufacturing or related field
  • Supervisory experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office applications
