Location Details: 

Title:  Operator

We are looking for a Production Fill-in Operator for the M&I manufacturing facility in St. Louis, Missouri. This position reports to the Production Manager.


          The primary accountabilities are:


  • Perform all work safely and with the utmost concern for the safety of self and others.
  • Aggressively troubleshoot problems when upsets occur in the plant.
  • Perform lab analysis tasks and collect production samples.
  • Must maintain communication and maintain good records keeping.
  • Directs Monitors, assists and/or performs operator level maintenance as needed / assigned.
  • Ensure proper operation of ALL equipment in the plant.
  • Monitors tank levels and process instrumentation; perform adjustments as required.
  • Operate pumps, valves, Filter presses, controls and other operating devices as required to ensure all plant systems are operating properly.
  •  Load finish goods onto truck tankers, railcars as needed with attention to quality of product being loaded and special instructions on individual orders.
  •  Follow safety operating procedures.
  • Ensure operations have zero environmental non-compliance.
  • Operate Fork truck and Skid steer.
  • Perform house keeping through out the plant as time permits.
  • Perform various labor activities as instructed by the Production Manager or Plant Manager.
  • Will be required to fill-in for operators on short notice.


          Job Requirements:

  •  Must have at least 1 years of experience in a industrial operations position.

  • Must have at least a High school diploma or GED.

  • Being able to read, write and speak in English is a must.

  • Have a strong work ethic, ability to trouble shoot problems, and being very safety orientated is a must.

  • Must be flexible with schedule and be able pass a Background check and Drug screen.


          Working Conditions:

  • Will be required to work a rotation schedule that runs 24/7.
  • Will be working out of a control room during parts of your day the rest of the time will be outside running the equipment and or cleaning it.
  • Lot of time on your feet. Some climbing of ladders and stairs. You will also have to work in our quality testing room where our materials are tested.
